Catalyst was formed in 2005 as an unlikely meeting of members from TN, MI, and FL. Each members background and influences, which vary from classic rock to thrash to country, have lent to their driven, 'southern-tinged' hard rock sound. Since then the band has played shows all around Knoxville and the East Tennessee area and have produced 2 albums with a 3rd in production.
